Tervetes Nature Park
Tervete’s Nature Park is one of the best and most suitable places for families with kids and those who are still able to view the world through kids’ eyes, believing in fairy tales and seeing wonders. This place also tells stories about mightiness of the ancient Zemgallian tribes through 3 longstanding hill forts.

Rundale’s Palace
Rundale’s Palace is one of the most outstanding monuments of Baroque and Rococo art in Latvia. It was built between 1736 and 1740 as a summer residence of Duke Ernst Johann of Courland. This amazing Palace is located just 28 km (18 miles) from our guesthouse.
Hill of Crosses
The Hill of Crosses is a site of pilgrimage about 60 km (38 miles) from our guesthouse. The precise origin of the practice of leaving crosses on the hill is uncertain, but it is believed that the first crosses were placed on the former Jurgaičai or Domantai hill fort after 1831 Uprising. Over the centuries, not only crosses, but giant crucifixes, carvings of Lithuanian patriots, statues of the Virgin Mary and thousands of tiny effigies and rosaries have been brought here by Catholic pilgrims, The number of crosses is unknown, but estimates put it at about 100,000 in 2006.
